ASRY’s warehousing operations are supported by a computerised inventory system and expansive storage facilities.
These are designed to streamline yard workflows and ensure smooth stock access. The system also helps maintain adequate space and avoids congestion in material handling.
A minimum of 9,000 tonnes of shipbuilding steel in assorted grades and sizes, along with 25,000 tonnes of grit for blasting and painting work, are held in stock at all times to prevent delays in ship repair. Inventory is reviewed regularly to maintain supply balance and avoid overstocking or shortages.
The main warehouse building spans 5,000 square metres and includes controlled storage areas for specialised items. An additional 7,800 square metres of open storage holds over 9,000 essential materials, including steel plates, pipes, fittings, marine cables and anodes, all required for production.
