Our Connections

While the ‘Arabian Mission’ of the Reformed Church in America is no longer there (it was dissolved in 1973), this church in Bahrain continues as an interdenominational church with affiliation to the Reformed Church in America.
Until the 1960s, the RCA run American Mission Hospitals, and the connected churches and schools, have been faithfully serving in Basra in Iraq, Muscat in Oman and Kuwait City in Kuwait, but they have become somewhat independent.
Kuwait hospital has become a museum and the Muscat hospital became an interfaith dialogue centre, the Al Amana centre. The only hospital in the region is the American Mission Hospital, Bahrain
By virtue of its history and its origins in this country, the Reformed Church in America has these in its fold:
- National Evangelical Church
- American Mission Hospital
- Al Raja School
