Our Belief

Our Belief
  • The members of this congregation confess the One God, who is from everlasting: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We are covenanted to walk together in love, as becomes a body of disciples of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Lord and Savior.
  • Christ is acknowledged as the only and sovereign head of this church.
  • Members are consecrated to his service, trusting in the sustaining power of the Holy Spirit working in and through them.
  • We seek to be faithful in worship, work, and witness in order to build up his church.
  • We share the gospel with all people, and strive to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God.
  • The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the only infallible rule for faith and practice, by which all preaching, teaching and actions are guided.
  • We accept the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed as true expressions of our Christian faith.
  • The two sacraments of the Church are Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
  • Baptisms in this Church are administered to infants, or to adult believers, without prejudice as to the validity of the sacrament.
